oh, this war, this war is killing me
In addition to applying to approximately a billion jobs, I've spent the past few days devouring the first season of How I Met Your Mother! I'm going to start the second one shortly, but I figured I should briefly post my not-terribly-coherent but possibly spoilery-ish thoughts.
-- I am almost ridiculously in love with Robin and I cannot wait until Ted/Robin is over. Even though it only just "officially" started, dammit.
-- Why such a creeper, Ted? How are you weirdly lovable even though you're an asshole? Why are you the main character?
-- Has there ever been a more perfect canon TV couple than Lily and Marshall? ♥
-- Be a little more fucking adorable, Neil Patrick Harris; my eyeballs aren't seared out thanks to your sheer cuteness yet.
-- IF LILY AND MARSHALL DO NOT GET BACK TOGETHER VERY, VERY QUICKLY, I WILL BE VERY, VERY UNHAPPY.
-- Did I mention I would like to be Robin's girlfriend because I love her?
-- Oh, yeah, and this show is awesome. I didn't expect it to be as enjoyable as it is, and I keep hearing that the second season is way better, so I'm looking forward to that.
