I would so happily read Outtakes From Harry Potter: Pointless Scenes of Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger Arguing, Joking Around, and Generally Being Adorable Best Friends.

Which is to say that I finished rereading Deathly Hallows yesterday afternoon and have mildly stunned even myself with just how desperately overinvested in the trio I am. Is this an unpopular opinion? I am unsure. But I love them so much. I totally cried, which is a bit weird since I don't remember crying at all the first time I read that book, except maybe when Hedwig died. This time around I probably cried at least a little every hundred pages.

Instead of doing anything productive with my life, this will be my cue to listen to Stephen Fry's audiobooks of the series. And also to pick up with reading a fuckload of fanfiction. How can I not want to find out why Draco Malfoy fled to San Francisco to become a stereotypically effeminate gay barista with a pierced ear and dyed hair?

I cried SO HARD at the end of Deathly Hallows, and I do it every single time. I'm left just curled up with it and crying. I'm over invested in the trio, yes, but...my heart utterly broke for Severus Snape. Like, I've pretty much been a Snape fan from the beginning, and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS adored him, even when the 6th book came out.

And...then this. I cried so hard that I had to take a break when I was reading it the first time.

I'm not going to lie, I think that Deathly Hallows was a perfect end to the series, despite wanting a MILLION more stories, LOL

Mmm, yay fanfiction. Also, JK has my eternal love for totally supporting fanfiction and how they deal with the aftermath. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Man. I forgot how much I loved Harry Potter.

I loved the end to DH! Well, if I'm being honest I try to politely ignore the epilogue, but the actual end I think is perfect.

HP is wonderful.

You know...I must be one of the only ones ti like the epilogue. IDK. I'm weird, but I love how it was wrapped up, and how that...I think despite her not wanting to write more, I think...maybe she was leaving it open to the fic writers. She's said before that she thinks those who write stories in the series are marvelous. She loves that there's fan fiction about these characters.

So...maybe there's that. But I liked it, weird as that is!

And it issss. ♥

I am just so charmed by the actual ending pre-epilogue, with Harry and Ron and Hermione and the portraits applauding and it all being so perfect. :( That just felt like the perfect place to end it to me. I'm also sort of weirded out by the fact that Harry and Ginny had three kids and couldn't come up with a new name for any of them.

Ohhh yeah. I'm rather fond of Peeves summation of the battle. XD

I dunno...I liked the epilogue for the way that it shows how Harry grew from...thrust into adulthood to..being an adult. That's the best way I can think to put it, honestly, but I loved Ron in it. Ron teasing his kids about not being in Gryffindor and Harry's speech to Al made me awwww. And ahahhaa, it's Harry and Ginny. Harry who's sentimental to the end and Ginny who's...Ginny. Of course they're not going to come up with new names. LMAO
